Vision
The Special Operations Center of Excellence will provide Equal Opportunity (EO) and fair treatment for military personnel and their Family members without regard to race, color, sex (gender identity), religion, sexual orientation or national origin and provide an environment free of unlawful discrimination and offensive behavior. Soldiers and Family members will not be accessed, classified, trained, assigned, promoted, or otherwise managed on the basis of race, color, sex (gender identity), religion, sexual orientation or national origin. The EO Program formulates, directs, and sustains a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential and to ensure fair treatment for all persons based solely on merit, fitness, and capability in support of readiness. EO philosophy is based on fairness, justice, and equity.
Equal Employment Opportunity
The Special Operations Center of Excellence (SOCoE) prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, national origin, age (40 or older), sex, religion, disability (mental or physical), genetic information, and reprisal against a person who participates in the EEO process or opposes employment discrimination. Managers, supervisors, and employees are responsible and accountable for complying with public laws and regulations that govern the policy of EEO.
